Obituary
Mrs. Inez Reed Marlow, 95, of Chandler St, Hartwell, died Monday, August 18, 2014 at her home.
Born on July 19, 1919 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Reed and Rose Ann Bailey Reed.She was retired from Walgreen's as a waitress and was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Claude E. Marlow; two brothers: Thamer Reed, Inman Reed; six sisters: Dewis Cleveland, Geneva Fleming, Maudie Dickerson, Dorothy Herring, Vernell Atkinson, and Audrey Nell Osborne.
A memorial service will be Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service.The family are at their respective homes.Memorials may be made to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home, 9250 Hutchinson Ferry Road, Palmetto, GA 30268.
