Obituary:
Mrs. Linda Whitfield Harris, 61, of 65 Carlton Dr, Hartwell, died Monday, January 25 at her home.

Born on November 6, 1948 in Jackson Co. GA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Whitfield and Ruby Coker Whitfield. She was a retired Bus Monitor for the Hart Co. School System and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her two sons, Mark Harris and Jason Harris both of Hartwell; a daughter, Sarah Cline of Douglasville; two brothers, Larry Whitfield of Hartwell and Bobby Whitfield of Commerce; four grandchildren, Casey, Jonathan, Nathan and Kenyon also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Amos E. Harris.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 27 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Terry Meeks and Rev. Johnny Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night. The family is at the home.
