Obituary:
Mrs. Lillian Veronica Theisen Byczek, age 87, of 80 Woodlake Drive, Apt. 125, Hartwell, GA, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Born September 9, 1922 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late George Theisen and Dorothy Theisen. She was retired from Cook County Hospital as a Medical Secretary and was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

She is survived by: Brother, Bob Theisen of Seattle, WA and a Sister, Margaret Bidwell of AL. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Walter J. Byczek; Daughter, Mary M. Byczek; Brother, George Theisen and a Sister, Dorothy Theisen.

A Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. The family will receive friends from 4:00 ~ 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. The family requests no flowers; Memorials be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell, GA 30643.
