Mrs. Mathie Hall Freeman, age 94, of 139 Freeman Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Hartwell Health Care Center.

Born January 23, 1916 in Johnson County, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Shade Hall and Rachel Hall. She was a homemaker and a Christian.

She is survived by: Son, William “Bill” Freeman of Greenville, SC; Daughter, Carol F. Staie of Mooresboro, NC and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Norman C. Freeman and a Son, Charles Freeman.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hartwell Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Family Members will officiate. Burial will be in the Danielsville Memorial Gardens, Danielsville, GA.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until Funeral Service.
