Mrs. Lorene Elizabeth Parker Isom, 87, of 106 W. Franklin Place, Hartwell, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born December 16, 1922 in Seneca, SC, she was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Parker and Rebecca Philyaw Parker. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church and attended Flat Shoals Baptist Church.
She is survived by: Son, Ted Isom and his wife Jane of Hartwell, GA; Sister, Faye Baker of Seneca, SC; Three grandchildren, Russell Isom, Stacey Isom, and Mollie Merrow and her husband Jeff. She is preceded in death by Parents; Brother, Russell Parker; Sisters, Ethel Moore, Pauline Prince and Christine Clark.
Graveside Services will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Rev. Ray Black officiating.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. ~ 3:30 p.m. The family is at the home of Ted & Jane Isom, 1456 B. Bailey Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
