Mrs. Tamela Renee’ “Tammy” Freeman Alewine, 44, of 273 Whippoorwill Trail, Hartwell, died Friday, July 23, 2010.

Born on January 28, 1966 in Hartwell GA, she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and a self-employed Sitter & Caregiver.

Survivors include her parents, Henry L. Freeman & Janice Arnold Freeman of Hartwell; husband, Tanny Alewine; son, Jeffrey Lee Freeman of Hartwell; brother, Henry Lee “Leebo” Freeman Jr. & his wife Pennie Lane of Hartwell; a grandchild, Jayda Lee Freeman; a niece, Patience Lane Freeman; a nephew, Carl Lee Freeman; close friends, Jessica Cross & Kim Anthony; several aunts & uncles also survive.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Hulon Bryant and Rev. Randall Starrett officiating. Burial will be in the Tabernacle Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday night. The family is at the home of her parents, Henry & Janice Freeman, 139 Whippoorwill Trail, Hartwell. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to defray funeral expenses.
