Obituary:
Mr. Isaac Leslie Bradford, age 88, of 3179 Liberty Hill Road, Hartwell, GA, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson, SC.

Born April 30, 1920 in Trout, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Ruben Henry Bradford and Rebecca Ann Stone Bradford. He retired from NVF, Fisher Division. He was a Charter member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Hartwell, GA. He was a U.S. Army veteran, served during WWII and European Theater.

He is survived by: Wife, Nina Elizabeth Richardson Bradford; Daughters, Nancy B. McCurley and her husband Keith of Hartwell, GA; Lynn B. Cantrell and her husband Art of Hartwell, GA; Sons, Ronald Bradford of Hartwell, GA and Doug Bradford and his wife Sheila of Hartwell, GA; Sisters, Myrtle B. “Sis” Kendricks of Jena, LA, Velma B. “Tiny” Boyd of Jena, LA, Dorothy B. Windham of Shreveport, LA and Mary B. Neal of Vidalia, LA; Sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive. Hs is preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters, Clarence, Bud and Van Bradford; Flora B. Speed, Evie Ann Bradford and Joyce B. Norris.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Rev. Terry Meeks and Rev. D.L. “Sonny” Peevy will officiate. Burial will be in the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday night from 6 – 8:00 p.m. The family is at the home. Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy., Hartwell, GA 30643 or to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
