Obituary:
Mrs. Era Mae (Clark) Addison, age 96, of Toccoa, formerly of Lavonia,died Thursday, September 17, 2009 at Toccoa Nursing Center.
Born August 15, 1913, she was the daughter of the late James Curtis & Corilla Jane Sewell Clark. She was a seamstress for many years and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Randolph Addison; sister: Essie Patterson; brothers: James, Ezra, Roy, and Willard Clark.
She is survived by son & daughter –in-law: Clark & Brenda Addison of Toccoa; son: Joe Addison of Lavonia; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Jameson officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens – North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
