Mr. Jerry Snow

Mr. Jerry Michael Snow, 73, of Woodlake Landing, Hartwell, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home. Born on February 10, 1948 in Royston GA, he was the son of the late John Quincy Snow and Emma LeCroy Snow. Mr. Snow was Owner/Operator of Hart Motor Company. Jerry was appointed to the Board of Directors of Hart EMC in March of 1992, where he served for almost 30 years, was a member of the Cokesbury United Methodist Church, attended Bethany Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife: Sarah Smith Snow; a son: Tony Snow (Brandy) of Atlanta; two daughters: Julie Snow of Gunnison CO and Suzanne Snow of Hartwell; a grandson: Chase Waller of Hartwell; two brothers: Bill Snow of Columbus GA and Gary Snow (Martha) of Jacksonville FL also survive. Mr. Snow was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Jimmy Snow and a sister: Gloria Ann Snow. The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home. A service celebrating the life of Mr. Jerry Snow will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Luther Thomason officiating. Mr. Snow will be cremated following the service. Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church, 2085 Bethany-Bowersville Road, Canon GA 30520. The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
