Mrs. Wanda Gail Dove

January 14, 1947 - March 30, 2022

Mrs. Wanda Gail Owens Dove, 75, of Hartwell, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at St. Mary’s Sacred Heart Hospital, Lavonia. Born on January 14, 1947 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Frank Joe Owens and Hazel Josephine Brown Owens. Mrs. Dove was a retired CNA and phlebotomist for Tugaloo Home Health for 23 years and formerly worked for Ty Cobb Hospital. She was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters: Teresa Gail Banks (Paul) of Evans GA, Tina Denise Peeples (Ricky) of Canon; one son: Thomas Daniel “Danny” Parker Jr (Amanda) of Hartwell; one brother: Tony Owens of Hartwell; one sister: Barbara Chitwood of Hartwell; twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Mrs. Dove was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband and the father of her children: Thomas Daniel Parker Sr and her second husband: William Ray Dove. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes. A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Gail Dove’s life will be held, April 2, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home.
