Obituary
Mr. "A.V." Albert Vandiver Senkbeil, 83, of 2890 New Prospect Road, Hartwell, GA, died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Hart County Hospital.
Born August 31, 1923 in Hart County, GA, he was the son of the late Loyd J. Senkbeil and Willie Mae Bailey Senkbeil.He was retired from the Newton Plant after 38 years.He was a former member of Hart County Cattleman's Association, a member of New Prospect Baptist Church and attended Abundant Life Baptist Church.
His survivors include:Wife, Virginia Roberson Senkbeil of the home; Daughters, Jane McGarity of Hartwell, GA, and Faye Senkbeil of Hartwell, GA; Brother, Carl G. Senkbeil and his wife Jeraldean of Hartwell, GA and one granddaughter, Leigh Anne Osborne.His parents and a sister, Emma Lee Strickland, preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Jimmie Cash and Rev. Ken Brewer will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home-Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m.The family is at the home.Flowers are optional and memorials may be made to Abundant Life Baptist Church, P.O. Box 237, Hartwell, GA30643.
