Mr. Adam Patrick Morris, 16, of 914 Maxwell Mill Rd., Dewy Rose, died Sunday, September 03, 2006 at Hart Co. Hospital.
Born on March 7, 1990 in Stuart FL, he was a 11th Grade student at Hart County High School.Adam was an honors student and a member of the HCHS Golf Team and Academic Bowl.He was employed at Bailes-Cobb of Hartwell.Adam was a member of the Hartwell First United Methodist Church, played on the Church basketball team and was a member of the Senior High Youth Group.
Survivors include his parents: Dwain and Sherry Morris Williams of the home; a sister: Adrianne Hope Williams of the home; paternal grandparents: Jim and Naomi Hope of Dewy Rose; maternal grandfather: Edwin H. Morris of Coleman FL and maternal great-grandfather: Marvin McEachin of Hapeville GA; several aunts and uncles also survive.He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Frances M. Morris.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 5 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hartwell First United Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart and Rev. Beau Swafford officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.The body will be placed in the church at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday night.The family is at the home.In lieu of flowers: memorials may be made to the Paul Shiflet Memorial Golf Scholarship or to the Hartwell First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 200 E.
