Obituary
Mr. Alan James Renner, 75, of Sanders Terrace, Hartwell, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at his home.
Born on October 5, 1942 in Tampa FL, he was the son of the late Jim Renner and Dorothy Groom Renner.Mr. Renner was a retired boat mechanic for Hartwell Marina.
Survivors include four sons: Bill Renner and his wife Julie of Seattle WA, Mike Renner of North Carolina, Ben Renner of Anderson SC and Peter Inman of St. Augustine FL; a daughter: Tonya Hall and her husband Gene of Myrtle Beach SC; a brother: Paul Renner of St. Petersburg FL; fourteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.Mr. Renner was preceded in death by his wife: Margaret Bee Renner and a son: John Inman.
A memorial service celebrating Alan's life will held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Tim Miller officiating.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
