Mr. Alfred Lee Chitwood, age 71, of Lavonia, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at his home.
Born November 13, 1941, he was the son of the late Hall C. and May Belle (Thomas) Chitwood. He was a car delivery driver for Murdock Ford. Mr. Chitwood was a US Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife: Sue Chitwood; children: Darlene Coates, Amanda Durham & Steve, Kevin Chitwood, Donnie Price, Lisa Boles & Wayne Segars; grandchildren: Sean & Emily Coates, Landon Durham, Cory Price, Brianna Green, Kelly, Meghan & Bradley Boles & Jacob Segars. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sisters: Velma & Thelma Chitwood.
Mr. Chitwood's request was to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
