Mrs. Alice Elizabeth Ayers Fleming, 84, of Reed Creek Hwy, Hartwell, died Monday, December 9 at her home.

Born August 21, 1929 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe M. Ayers and Talice Edna Holland Ayers.She was retired from Dunlop where she was a machine operator and was also a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra J. Stovall of Hartwell; a son, Bruce E. Fleming of Hartwell; four grandchildren, Kevin Fleming, Calvin Fleming, Ciera Fleming, Ashley Fleming, two Great Grandchildren, Kallen Fleming, and Eya Fleming.Mrs. Fleming was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar T. "Ed" Fleming and a brother, Joel H. Ayers

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Allen Stewart officiating.Burial will be in the Reed Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The body is at Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. The family are at their respective homes.
