Alice Marie (Gill) Mitchell, age 85, of Beverly St. Lavonia passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her home.
Alice was born November 9, 1929 in New Jersey. She met and married the love of her life, Charles O. Mitchell in 1947; they were married for 68 years.
Alice is survived by her husband Charles O. Mitchell of Lavonia, son Charles L. Mitchell of Westtown, NJ and daughter Barbara Kendall of Lavonia. She was blessed with five grand children and five great-grand children.
The family is at the home and asks to please call ahead to visit. No services will be held.
Alice had a great love of teaching and children. The family asks that in lieu of flowers please make a donation to a local school or library.
