Obituary

Mr. George Allen Bragg, 70, of the Shoal Creek Community, Lavonia, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital in Lavonia.

Born on November 15, 1954 in Royston, GA, he was the son of the late Carlos Johnson Bragg and Esther Chastain Bragg. Mr. Bragg was a construction superintendent for Carroll Daniels Construction, and a member of the East Lavonia Church of God. He was also an avid fishermen, deer hunter, and college football fan.

Survivors include his wife: Patricia D. Phillips Bragg of the home; one son: Jason A. Bragg of Lavonia; three sisters: Faye Smith (Albert) of Royston, Wanda Cheek (Danny) of Hartwell, and Susan Henson (Jammie) of Danielsville; and one grandchild: Chance A. Bragg. Mr. Brag is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Larry Bragg and Richard Bragg; and one sister: Glenda Vaughn.

The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mr. Allen Bragg will be held Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home with Revs. Danny Cheek and Clay Huff officiating.  Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
