Obituary
Mrs. Alma Louise Rowland, 94, of 710 Leard Street, Hartwell, widow of the late Hanie G. Rowland, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Hart Care Center.
Born on July 4, 1917 in Hart County, she was the daughter of the late Warren Snow and Lizzie Gaines Snow.She was retired from Hartwell Mills where she filled batteries and was a member of Flat Shoals Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Terry Rowland of Hartwell; and two grandchildren: Jonathan Rowland and Jeremy Rowland.Mrs. Rowland was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Hilda Sue Rowland; one brother, William Snow; and four sisters: Mildred Richey, Lucy Rowland, Mamie Rowland, and Evelyn Spears.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, special memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.
