Obituary
Mr. Alvin Dean Hoofner, age 65, of Carnesville, died Friday, September 23, 2016 at his home.
Born March 10, 1951, in Gwinnett County, he was the son of the late James Henson Hoofner and Annie Belle Winslow Hoofner. He owned and operated Hoofner Construction He was a man of many talents; he enjoyed building cabinets, working on plumbing, and farming. Mr. Hoofner was a member at Word of Life Church in Carnesville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Melvin Hoofner; and a sister: Sandra Hoofner.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara (Johnson) Morgan Hoofner; daughter: Ronda Lee Hoofner; son: James Dean Hoofner; step-son: Joseph Thomas Morgan; grandchildren: Chloe Jade Goodine, Anniebell Darlene Guest, and Amberlyn Grace Hoofner; great-grandchildren: Dennis Dean Guest, Reigns Guest, and soon to be arriving, Anna Guest; and brothers: Terry Hoofner and J. Fayette Hoofner.
The memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Word of Life Church in Carnesville. Mr. Hoofner was cremated in accordance with his wishes.
