Ms. Amanda Link Ethridge, 77, of 235 Emory Drive, Hartwell, GA, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at Hart Care Center.

Born June 11, 1931 in Abbeville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lindsey Link and Maggie Stevenson Link.She was a retired CNA from Brown Memorial Convalescent Home.She was a member of Long Cane Presbyterian Church and attended Price Chapel Church of God.

She is survived by:Sons, Douglas Simpson of Anderson, SC and Donnie Ethridge of Hartwell, GA; Daughters, Robbie Walker of Hartwell, GA, Debbie Borders of Elberton, GA, Cindy Sokol of Hartwell, GA and Deana Parker of Bowman, GA; Sisters, Sarah Uldrick of Abbeville, SC, Marion Wilson of Abbeville, SC and Frances Baughman of Abbeville, SC; Nine grandchildren; Fifteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.She is preceded in death by her Parents; Brothers; Paul Link and Clark Link; and Sisters, Daisy Uldrick, Margaret Ashley and Mary Uldrick.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Rev. Johnny Stowe and Rev. Ken Brewer will officiate.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 – 9:00 p.m.The family is at the home of Robbie Walker, 235 Emory Drive, Hartwell.
