Mr. Amos Malachi, 62, of Sunset Road, Canon, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 at his home.

Born on February 29, 1960 in Winchester KY, he was the son of Verdie Helmburg Bryant and the late Brooks Dean Barnes Sr.Mr. Malachi was a property maintenance manager for Sun Chemical and a US Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife: Louise Scott Barnes; two daughters: Kerri Harris (David) of Canon, Brooke Archie (Brad) of New Brockton AL; one brother: Barry Bryant of KY; four grandchildren: JJ Williams, Ashlyn Miller, Jaxson Harris and Brantley Archie. Mr. Malachi was preceded in death by his father: Brooks Dean Barnes Sr.; one sister: Renee Bryant and his step-father: Miller Bryant.

Mr. Malachi wished to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held by the family.
