Mr. Donald Anthony "Andy" Findley, 59, of Alvin Mize Road, Royston, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2018, at his home.

Born on September 6, 1959 in Royston GA, he was the son of Donald J. Findley and Sara L. Painter Findley. Mr. Findley had an associate's degree in Electrical Engineering and was a former teacher at Athens Tech.He also was a member of the Vanna United Methodist Church and was a US Navy veteran.

Survivors include his parents: one son: Isaac Findley of Royston; and one nephew: Stephen A. Findley of Santa Cruz, CA. Mr. Findley was preceded in death by his sister: Rhonda K. Findley.

A memorial service celebrating Andy's life will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Jack Findley officiating.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.The family is at the home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hart County Humane Society, PO Box 1062, Hartwell, GA 30643 or Hart County Animal Rescue, PO Box 45, Hartwell, GA 30643.
