Mr. Andy Britton Parsons Sr., age 62, of Lavonia, lost his fight with lung cancer on October 16th surrounded by family at his home.Born May 8, 1949, in Horsepen, Virginia, he was the son of the late Ora and Ruth Parsons.Andy was a self employed building contractor and a veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his wife:Liz Ratliff Parsons; his son and daughter-in-law:Andy and Jennifer Parsons of Cumming; his daughters and sons-in-law:Kim and Greg Kilgore of Lavonia and Amber and Joey Smith of Hartwell; ten grandchildren:Olivia Parsons, Aaron Parsons, Zachary Burnette, Brady Burnette, Brycen Burnette, Alyssa Kilgore, Justin Bailey, Christopher Bailey, BJ Smith, and Dusty Smith; eleven brothers and sisters:Skip Parsons , Jan Baird, Barb Vance, Pete Parsons, Ronnie Parsons, Deb Silcox, Rudy Parsons, Ruby Shutler, Pam VanFossen, Jack Parsons, and Donna Cox; and his best friend:Curt Vance.
