Angela Diane Lewallen Duncan, age 52, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born August 31, 1969, in Stephens, she was the daughter of Reese Lewallen and the late Gail Marie Lewallen. She was a graduate of Franklin County High School, Class of 1987. She was a homemaker and a member of Double Branches Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, was an avid gardener, and was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Atlanta Braves. Angela doted on her grandkids, and spent her life caring for others, especially her beloved cat: George. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her father & step-mother: Reese & Gini Lewallen, she is survived by her husband: Andrew Duncan; daughters: Nikki Blakely (Ben Norris) and Deana Blakely (Justin Ward); sister: Sandy Lewallen; and grandchildren: Kason Caudell, Jade Caudell, and Nolan Knox.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home of Lavonia. Cremation will follow the service, in accordance with Angela's request. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 p.m. until the service. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association (www.diabetes.org).
