Ms. Angela Michelle Mouchet, age 45, of Hartwell, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at AnMed Health after an extended illness.
Born May 22, 1969, in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of Linda (Phillips) Godfrey and the late Furman Mouchet.She was store manager for Royal Foods and was a member of Bowersville Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother: Sean Mouchet; step-father: Carlton Godfrey; grandparents: John and Mae (Baker) Phillips and Joe and Mary Frances (Isom) Mouchet.
She is survived by her mother, children: Heather Ivester and husband Jamie of Eastanollee, Erica Emory of Lavonia, Dianna Emory of Martin and Chris Alewine of Lavonia; step-brothers: Jeff Godfrey and Kevin Godfrey both of Lavonia; step-sisters: Sherry Gailey of Lavonia and Melissa Godfrey of FL; grandchildren: Madalyn Hali Leaver, Leiah Rose Ivester, Kayli Jordan Ivester and Eliza Dawn Ivester; and companion for many years: Robert Emory.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Lavonia Chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. A private entombment will follow in the Memorial Garden of Prayer in Hartwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to the charity of your choice
