Mr. Lord Ank Hill, 62, of Richardson St., Hartwell, died Monday, March 23, 2009 at Heartland Hospice, Conyers GA.

Born in Hart Co. GA, he was the son of the late Walter Lee Hill and Beatrice Inez Bailey Hill.He was a construction worker and of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Marian Payne of Hartwell and Faye Gray Page of Carnesville; four brothers, William Hill, Larry Hill & Marvin Hill all of Hartwell and Ray Hill of Elberton; several nieces and nephews also survive.He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Howard Hill and Berry Hill.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Edgar Boles and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park with Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night.The family is at the home of William & Bonnie Hill, 4071 Reed Creek Rd., Hartwell.
