Mrs. Georgia Ann Walters Daniel, 69, of Murray Ave., Hartwell, died Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

Born on January 15, 1946 in Royston GA, she was the daughter of the late George Walters and Edna Skelton Walters.In May of 1965 she married the late Danny W. Daniel.Together they had four children: Alan Daniel and his wife Lori of Hartwell; Angie D. Bagwell and her husband Ken of Bethlehem GA, Andrea D. Tyler and her husband Charles of Bethlehem and Anjanette Daniel of Winder, GA. She also leaves behind her seven wonderful grandchildren: Amanda and Kelli Daniel of Hartwell, Austin, Anna and Brett Bagwell of Bethlehem and Garrett and Jacob Tyler of Bethlehem. Also one sister: Alma Greenway of Starr SC and two brothers: Charles Walters of Hartwell and Clark Walters of Atlanta.She was an active member of the Milltown Baptist Church, the First Monday Club and the Dairy Queen Coffee Bunch.

Her wishes were to be cremated and her ashes buried beside her husband at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery in a private ceremony.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev.
