Ms. Ann Stovall Gurley of Cedar Pond Road, Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Herbert F. Stovall and Carrie Burdette Stovall.Ms. Gurley was a graduate of the Anderson Memorial Hospital Radiology School and retired from Hart County Hospital with over 40 years of service in the radiology department.She was also a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter: Bridgette Carlton (Marcus) of Elberton; two brothers: James Stovall, Byron Stovall both of Elberton; three sisters: Emily Brown (Wendell) and Gail Burdette all of Hartwell and Faye Hall (Stephen) of Starr, SC; four grandchildren: Corey Gurley, Christopher Carlton (Britney), Clay Carlton, Breanna Rice; two great grandchildren: Luke Rice and Emmett Carlton; a special friend "Ace" McGee and several nieces & nephews.Ms. Gurley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Dean Adams; one son: Barry Gurley and one daughter: Rebecca Rice.

A private graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Forest Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
