Mrs. Julie Ann Glenn Richardson, 84, of Canon, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025 at her home.
Born on November 19, 1940, in Hartwell, GA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Glenn and Betsy May Sammons Glenn. Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker. She loved playing the guitar, fiddle, singing, making music with her siblings, gardening, traveling, flowers, and cooking for her family.
Survivors include her husband: Harold B. Richardson; one son: David Richardson of Bowersville; four daughters: Teresa King of Hartwell, Peggy Pierce (Scott Black) of Bowersville, Donna Allen (Phillip Smith) of Bowersville, and Martha Gabriel (James) of Lavonia; seven grandchildren: Candice Stone Strouble (Stuart), Nicholas Gabriel (Kayla), Christan Richardson (Kel), Dillion Gabriel (Leann), Dakota Smith, Gena Eaton, and Chris Scott; four great-grandchildren: Ayla Carter, Chamberlyn Strouble, Alanah Eaton, Brayden Scott; and her two caregivers: Tara Jones and Shena Sutton.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents; nine brothers: Horace, Hoyt, William, Perry, Jimmy, Forest, Burley, Tiny, and Pearly Glenn; and two sisters: Betty Wells and Maggie Gillian.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Richardson will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Bill Stacey officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
