Mrs. Anna J. Denney Loyd, 85, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023 at her home.

Born on March 6, 1938 in Cincinnati OH, she was the daughter of the late Jonah Denney and Martha Deathridge Denney.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Reed Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mel Loyd; a son: Michael J. Loyd (Cindy) of Wichita KS; a daughter: Michele E. Pokora (Ed) of Middletown OH; a brother: Don Denney of Lansing MI: a sister: Darlene D. Half of Cincinnati OH; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services for Mrs. Anna Loyd will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Arlington Memorial Gardens, Mt. Healthy OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Reed Creek Baptist Church, 116 Boleman Hill Road, Hartwell, GA 30643.
