Mrs. Anna Gowder Roukoski, 91, of Hartwell, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on December 16, 1928 in Royston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Glen H. Gowder and Nettie Dean Gowder.Mrs. Roukoski was a retired LPN from Hart County Hospital and Heritage Inn Nursing Home (Hartwell Health & Rehab), and she was a member of the Sharon Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her son: Glen "Chip" Gowder of Hartwell; two sisters: Mary Ann Smith and Mildred Mattox, both of Elberton; two grandchildren: Cassie Gowder and Russell Hunt; and two great grandchildren: Grayson Bennett and Logan Bennett. Mrs. Roukoski was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Claude E. Roukoski; and one sister: Katy Turner.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home.Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Roukoski will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Terry Meeks officiating.Burial will be in the Sharon Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell Health & Rehab Activity Fund, 94 Cade St, Hartwell, GA 30643.
