Obituary
Mrs. Annie Mae Young White Cobb, 91, of 1889 Will Bailey Road, Hartwell, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Hart Care Center.
Born on November 22, 1919 in Starr, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jule Young and Elmer Elgin Young. She was a homemaker and a member of Price Chapel Church of God.
She is survived by one son: Clifford J. White of Hartwell; two sisters: Ruby Wiles of Iva, SC, and Olga Campbell of Starr, SC; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. Mrs. Cobb was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Mack C. White and Spurgeon Cobb; one son: Curtis White; three brothers: Paul Young, Herbert Young, and Harrison Young; and one sister: Sarah Burton.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Durden officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.The family is at the home of her son, Clifford White.
