Mrs. Annie Mae Brown Duck, 94, of Will Zoellner Lane, Mountain City GA, formerly of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home.

Born on June 20, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Donald Brown and Pearl Hicks Brown.Mrs. Duck retired from the Milliken/Newton Plant as a Loom Fixer and was the oldest member of the Mt. Olivet Church of God.

Survivors include a daughter: Sue Conner and her husband Steve of Mountain City GA; three grandchildren: Kimberly Simonds of Mountain City GA, Neal Crump and his wife Nina of Clayton GA and Beth Hammond of Bowling Green KY; six great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren also survive.Mrs. Duck was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Bethel T. Duck; two grandsons: Beck Crump and Trae Crump; a brother: Thomas Brown and two sisters: Beatrice Reed and Mary Alice Stone.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Wayne Durden and Mr. Fred Greenway officiating.Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Church of God Cemetery.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.
