Mrs. Annie Doker Temple, age 87 of 2117 Dr. George Ward Rd., Elberton, widow of the late W C Temple, died Monday, May 5, 2008 at Elbert Memorial Hospital.

Born on March 3, 1921 in Hart County, GA, she was the daughter of the late J.J. Doker and Annie Fousek Doker.She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son: Michael W. Temple of Elberton, GA; brother: Leo Doker of Covington, KY; sister: Ruth Bailey of Hartwell, GA; Grandchild: Shirley Benton, three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one great step-grandchild, and eight great-great step grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church with Father Terrence Kane officiating. Burial will follow at the Memorial Garden of Prayer.

The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening.A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. The family is at their respective homes.
