Mrs. Annie Dean Vice, 94, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.

Born on July 6, 1930 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Clifton W. Dean and Eddie Lee Vickery Dean.  Mrs. Vice retired from F.W. Woolworth in Ft. Myers FL as a Merchandise Coordinator. After moving to Hartwell, she volunteered at the Nursing Homes and Clothes Closet and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son: Keith Elrod of TN; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a nephew, who took care of her: Mark Dean of Dewy Rose GA and several other nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Vice was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Vice; a son: Lamar Elrod; two sisters: Beulah Dunn and Mary Singleton and five brothers: Joel, Jim, Robert, Wayne and Larry Dean.

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at their respective homes.

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Vice will be Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Forrest Ferguson officiating.  Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.

Flowers are optional, and memorials may be made to the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1543 Anderson Hwy, Hartwell, GA 30643.
