Mr. Anthony James Carter, age 47, of Canon, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.
He was born November 23, 1972 in Royston. He was the son of Roy Lee and Betty (Stowe) Carter. Mr. Carter was a steel fabricator with Heir International and was of the Holiness faith.
He is survived by his parents: wife: Joy (Wilson) Carter; daughter: Kailin Smith; grandchildren: Skyler Anthony James Smith and Alexis Smith; brother: Wesley Carter; sister-in-law: Hattie Carter; niece: Ashleigh Carter; and great nieces and nephews: JayAnna & Jaylee Walker and Nakyia & Kaidyn Harrison. He was preceded in death by a brother: Timothy Carter.
The family has chosen cremation and no formal service will be held at this time.
