Mr. Arthur Fredrick "Art" Wilson, age 66, of 17 Wilson Lane, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, April 12, 2010 at his home.
Born November 7, 1943 in Atlanta, GA, he was the son of the late Walter James Wilson and Verdie Elaine Glover Wilson.He was a Graduate of Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.He was the Owner/operator of Artco Realty.He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge #690, Yarrah Temple and Lake Hartwell Shrine Club.He was a private Pilot, a Diver and in the U.S. Coast Guard where he served in Bay of Pigs
He is survived by:Sons, Art Wilson, Jr of Chicago, IL, Skip Wilson of Greenville, SC and Chad Wilson of Marietta, GA; Daughters, Rene` Ellington of Cumming, GA and Heather Connelly of Roswell, GA; Brother, Walt Wilson of Covington, GA and Seven grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his Parents and a Sister.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sardis Baptist Church with Military Honors. Rev. Carter Tucker will officiate.The family will receive friends after the Memorial Service.
