Mr. Arthur Lee Moore, 57, of 2246 Bennett Rd., Bowman, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital, Athens.
Born on October 14, 1949 in Hart Co. GA, he was the son of the late Guy Moore and Gertrude House Moore.
Survivors include a son: Jeffery Moore of Rome GA; two daughters: Angelia Moore of Athens and Regina Moore of Atlanta; six brothers: Alvin Moore and Terry Moore both of Royston, Doyle Moore of Dewy Rose, Wayne Moore of Elberton and Michael Moore and Nathan Moore both of Bowman; three sisters: Barbara Martin and Rhonda Brown both of Bowman and Dorothy Sowards of South Shore KY; eight grandchildren also survive.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Paul Moore and a sister: Lucille Bellew.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Leon Suttles officiating.Cremation will follow.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home – Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
