Arthur Dale "Art" Wilson, age 60, of Lavonia, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020 at Navicent Health in Macon.
Born November 14, 1959, in Stephens County, he was the son of the late Glen and Elizabeth (Hand) Wilson. He was a brick mason and a veteran of the Georgia National Guard. Mr. Wilson was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: J. J. & Eva Wilson and Marjorie Sharp; and brother: Tony Wilson.
He is survived by his wife: Lynn (Brady) Wilson; daughters: Christy Hill and Renee Wilson; grandchildren: Zachary Dale Wilson, Nicholas Logan Ashworth, Chase Austin Hill, and Xander Lane Wilson; brother: Vern Wilson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at Lavonia City – Burgess Cemetery. Due to the current community health crisis no visitation or public service will be held at this time. A video of the service can be viewed on Art's tribute page at stricklandfh.com Thursday evening.
