Mrs. Barbara Vickery Andrews, 78, of Hartwell, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Born on June 30, 1942 in Taylors, SC, she was the daughter of the late Horace J. "H.J." Vickery Jr. and Deane Adams Vickery.Mrs. Andrews was an RN who served the Hart County Hospital, Heritage Inn Nursing Home, and Hart Care Center. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her four daughters: Jenda Austin (Mark) of Hartwell, Jan Stowe (Richard) of Royston, GA, Kelly Barnard (Sean) of Hartwell, and Ashley Pepper (Daniel) of Hartwell; eleven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister: Delorese White of Hartwell. Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Frank Kells Andrews; and a great grandchild: Ashley McKenna Seymour.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at 167 Fairview Ave, Hartwell.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Andrews will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Robby Brown and Rev Ben Smith officiating.Burial will be in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
