Barbara J. Crowe's Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Ann Jordan Crowe, 70 of Mt. Olivet Road, Hartwell, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Hartwell Health & Rehab.
Born on January 16, 1948 in Hartwell GA, she was the daughter of the late Joe C. Jordan and Marie Dunn Jordan. Mrs. Crowe was a homemaker and a former employee with Winn Dixie and LHP.She also was a member of the Milltown Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband: Howard Crowe; one son: Darrin Crowe of Hartwell; one daughter Tammy Martin of Hartwell; one sister: Sylvene Temples (Kenneth); two brothers: Thomas Jordan (Rhonda) and Ricky Jordan (Brenda) all of Hartwell; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.Mrs. Crowe was preceded in death by her parents; and one great grandchild: William Bryce Allen.
A memorial service celebrating Barbara's life will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Milltown Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Brewer and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Milltown Baptist Church prior to the service.The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Milltown Baptist Church, c/o Brenda Chitwood, 151 Fleming Circle, Hartwell Ga 30643.
The Strickland Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Hartwell is in charge of all arrangements.
