Mrs. Barbara Warren Edmunds, 88, of Hartwell, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Hart Care Center.

Born on March 21, 1936 in York SC, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Henry "Toots" Warren and Catherine Garner Warren.  Mrs. Edmunds was a graduate of Winthrop College and a homemaker. She was a former member of the Hartwell Service League, Nancy Hart Garden Club and played in several Bridge Clubs.  Mrs. Edmunds was a faithful member of the Hartwell First Methodist Church, WMU, and Joyful Holland SS Class.

Mrs. Edmunds was survived by her two daughters: Cathy E. Redfern (Hunt) of Greer SC and Kimberley E. Bond (David) of LaGrange GA; three grandchildren: Eliott Bond (Ashley) of Atlanta GA, Kelly Vaughn (Matt) of Nashville TN and Leslie Larkin (Wesley) of Americus GA and five great-grandchildren: Jack Bond, Catherine Bond, Paul Larkin, Elsie Larkin and Samuel Vaughn. Mrs. Edmunds was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Jack B. Edmunds Jr. and a sister: Myra Ratterree.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Barbara Edmunds will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hartwell First Methodist Church with Dr. R. Allen Stewart officiating.  A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.  Mrs. Edmunds ashes will be placed beside her husband's at the Northview Cemetery Columbarium Garden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hartwell First Methodist Church Building Fund, 200 E. Howell Street, Hartwell GA .30643.

The family would like to express their love and gratitude for all the care Mrs. Barbara received over the last few months from her extended Hartwell family & friends, her church and local health care workers.
