Mrs. Barbara Rella Fineza, 88, of Hartwell, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at NHC Healthcare of Anderson.

Born on May 2, 1936 in New York NY, she was the daughter of the late Robert Rella and Mildred Ware Rella.  Mrs. Fineza finished High School in South Carolina, attended University of South Carolina and graduated from Jackson Memorial Hospital, School of Nursing in Miami FL with a Registered Nurse Degree. In Miami, she met her husband of sixty six years, Joe.  They retired to Hartwell in 1994 and built a home on the lake.  She loved gardening, flower arranging and cooking.  She was an avid bridge player and was a member of the St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her husband: Joseph A. "Joe" Fineza; two sons: Douglas Fineza (Sheila) of Hartwell, David Fineza of Ft. Myers FL; one brother: Robert Rella (Sherry) of Gainesville FL and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Fineza was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Craig Fineza.

Memorial services for Mrs. Barbara Fineza will be Friday, September 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church with The Rev. Reid Hamilton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 579 Fairview Ave, Hartwell GA 30643.
