Mrs. Barbara Ann Gibson, age 73, of Lavonia, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at St. Mary's Sacred Heart Hospital.
Mrs. Gibson was born July 22, 1946 in Pickens, SC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ella Mae (Whitworth) Herring. She was a Cutter Sharpener for the Bosch Corporation and was a member of the Lavonia Church of God.
She is survived by her husband: Roger Gibson of the home; sons and daughters-in-law:Kevin Gibson & Crystal, Teddy Gibson & Deanna and Tim Gibson & Marcy; grandchildren: Brittany, Katelyn, Deven, Lyra and Chase; siblings: Billy and Alva. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Sara.
The funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday November 11, 2019 at the Lavonia Church of God with Rev. Adam Tripp and Rev. Johnny Stowe officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memorial Gardens - North. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. At other times the family will be at the home. Flowers are optional or memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara to the Lavonia Church of God 107 Bear Creek Road Lavonia, GA 30553.
