Mrs. Barbara Green Knott, 81, of 375 Knotts Landing, Hartwell GA, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at her home.
Born January 6, 1926 in Cumming, GA, she was the daughter of the late Thurlow Green and the late Eunice Hammons Green.She was a retired owner and operator of Barbara's Beauty Shop in Sandy Springs, GA.She was a member of the Sharon Baptist Church, Cumming GA and attended the First Baptist Church of Hartwell.
She is survived by her husband: W.C. "Bill" Knott of the home; Sons: Mark Knott of Hartwell GA; William Knott of Carrollton GA and Larry Knott of Watertown TN; Brother: Billy Green of Duluth GA; Sisters: Pat Bagwell of Duluth GA and Jackie Griffith of Loganville GA; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.She was preceded in death by her parents and a number of Brothers and Sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 15 at 2 p.m. in the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Dr. Steve Williams officiating.Burial will be at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home ~ Hartwell Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday night.The family will be at the home.
