Mrs. Barbara Jean Lathan White, 76, of Will Bailey Road, Hartwell, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at her home.

Born on September 17, 1943 in Toccoa, GA, she was the daughter of the late Grady Lathan and Daisy Carter Lathan.Mrs. White was retired from the Hart County Hospital, and was a member of the Bowman Church of God.

Survivors include her daughter: Shirley Roach (Leon) of Canon; two sons: Terry Allen (Vickie) and Kenneth Allen (Angie), all of Hartwell; one brother: Willis Lathan of Englewood, FL; eighteen grandchildren; and thirty-two great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Clifford Julius White; one brother: James Lathan; and two sisters: Kathryn Christian and Sandy Griffin.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell.Other times the family will be at the home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara White will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Stacy Lynch officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
