Barbara Jean Layne, 76, of Lavonia, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home.
She was born February 11, 1943, in Monroe, GA the daughter of the late Harvey Lee Rowe and Martha Etter McIntyre. She was the owner of Apple Tree Restaurant and was a member of Calvary Holiness Church in Fayetteville.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Paul Edwin Layne, brothers: Douglas Keith Spencer and Rodney Dewayne Spencer.
She is survived by daughter; Susan Laynette Spencer, brothers: Joseph Ray Spencer, Kenneth Marcus Spencer and Jackie Roy Spencer along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Barbara was cremated in accordance with her request; a memorial service will be held at a latter date.
