Ms. Barbara A. McAlhany Neese, age 68, of 413 Old Mt. Hebron Road, Hartwell, GA, died Monday, May 17, 2010 at her home.
Born November 22, 1941 in Branchville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Raymond B. McAlhany and Lucille Nettles McAlhany.She was the Owner/operator of Barbara's Hair Styles and a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
She is survived by: Son, Mark E. Asdot of Lakeland, FL; Daughter, Teresa E. Neese of Hartwell, GA; Brothers, R. H. "Mac" McAlhany of Hartwell, GA and John F. McAlhany of Hartwell, GA; and Three grandchildren, Cannon Asdot, Caysi Asdot and Callan Asdot.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.Dr. Donald Little, Rev. Ray Black and Rev. Duane Hall will officiate.The family will receive friends after the service at the church. The family is at the home of Teresa Neese, 90 Hidden Hills Drive, Hartwell, GA.Flowers are optional; Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC29621.
