Mrs. Barbara Ann Sheriff Neese, age 61, of Duluth, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at her home.
Born September 3, 1948 in Stephens County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Inez Higginbotham Sheriff. Mrs. Neese was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters: Mae Blakely and Rudene Burnette; brothers: Bobby, Paul, Dewey, and Dwight Sheriff.
She is survived by her husband: Roger Neese; daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda & Aaron Rogers and Tracy & Rob Young; brothers and sisters-in-law: Johnny & Barbara Sheriff of Carnesville & Bruce & B Sheriff of Carnesville; sister and brother-in-law: Joyce & Harold Henderson; grandsons: Blake & Brice Rogers and Austin Young; and granddaughters: Avery Young and Brooke Rogers.
Funeral services with will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Colman and Rev. Michael Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
