Ms. Barbara Williamson Norman, 64, of Oakland St., Hartwell, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, SC.

Born on November 19, 1949 in Lavonia, GA she was the daughter of the late Rev. Voil McGarity Williamson and Dellie Lee Powell Williamson. She worked for the City of Hartwell as a clerk for forty years andwas of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son: Sam Norman of Hartwell; four sisters: Lila McKern and her husband Harold of Canon, Brenda Banks and her husband Tommy of Royston, Eula Myers and her husband Cecil of Lavonia, and Verna Ashworth of Bowman.She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Everett Williamson and two sisters: Pat Burdette and Hazel Williamson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral home of Hartwell with the Rev. Lee Smith officiating.Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 at the funeral home.
